About The Position

UNC Health Wayne is looking for BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, NC. This position involves delivering high-quality, team-based inpatient services. This position involves admitting and was designed to help both the day and the night team, while creating a shift that increases flexibility for all team members. Goldsboro is located one hour east of Raleigh, the vibrant state capital, and 90 minutes from the NC coast. Schedule: 3:00pm - 3:00am (9 hours of admissions followed by 3 hours of cross cover-age) There is some flexibility in shift start times UNC Wayne is a modern facility with 316 Acute Care Beds 120+ year history 38 Emergency Beds 4 Trauma beds 4 Behavioral Health Beds 15 Bed ICU 8 Bed Labor and Delivery Unit 26 Bed Nursery 22 Bed Behavioral Health Unit Closed ICU EMR: EPIC
