About The Position
Novant Health New Hanover Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and experienced Nocturnistâ¯Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join an established, growing team of 40 physicians and 9 APPs to provide care our patients under the direction of inpatient physicians in Wilmington, NC. The ideal provider would have experience as a hospitalist, internal medicine or in the emergency department. Be flexible and able to work weekends and nights (11 hour shifts).
Requirements
- Master's Degree required.
- Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master's NP program required.
- Current PA or NP license in appropriate state required.
- NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, BLS, DEA registry required.
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight care to many patients responding to codes and providing cross coverage
- Inpatient Hospitalist Care
