Requirements

• Completion of required training/certification as per state regulations.
• Certified Medication Aides/Techs must be organized and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Previous work as a Medication Aide/Tech.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self-administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Observe and report responses to your supervisor.
• Ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean.
• Assist with medication cart audits.
• Provide accurate counts of all medications.
• Communicate with pharmacies to coordinate medication delivery.
