About The Position

As a NOC Engineer (Network Operations Technician) at Broadridge, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our enterprise network infrastructure supporting real‑time financial platforms. Operating in a fast‑paced FinTech environment, you'll monitor network health, respond to incidents, and maintain high availability for mission‑critical systems while upholding industry‑leading compliance and security standards.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a network operations or IT support role, preferably within financial services or a regulated environment.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP/OSPF routing protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Fortinet networking equipment.
  • Familiarity with NOC tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and ticketing systems.
  • Awareness of security practices and regulatory compliance in financial services.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a mission-critical environment.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent, plus exposure to AWS/Azure networking and scripting (Python, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, cloud connections) to ensure 24/7 uptime.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues, outages, and security alerts in real time.
  • Perform Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting; escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when necessary.
  • Execute maintenance tasks — firmware upgrades, configuration changes, and patch management — with minimal business disruption.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align with regulatory frameworks (SOX, PCI‑DSS, SEC).
  • Accurately document incidents, configurations, and change activities in systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Support disaster recovery testing and internal/external audits.
  • Participate in rotating on‑call schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring constant operational support.
