About The Position

As the NOC Director, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Boldyn’s Network Operations Center. This role combines high-level planning with hands-on guidance to ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team performance in a 24x7x365 environment. You will influence organizational priorities, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and key clients. Based in our Las Vegas office, you will lead a team of NOC professionals, driving continuous improvement and aligning operations with Boldyn’s business objectives .

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and inspire high performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with a focus on operational optimization.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Bachelor's degree in C omputer S cience , Engineering, or directly related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise-scale NOC operations, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), network security, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to influence decisions and build trust across organizational levels.
  • CCNA- Routing and Switching certification required
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
  • Experience implementing automation and analytics tools for operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in incident, change, and escalation management processes.

Nice To Haves

  • CCNP or equivalent certification preferred
  • wireless certifications (CWNA/CWNP, Cisco, Aruba) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of NOC leads and engineers, setting clear expectations and providing coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities.
  • Build an inclusive, high-performance culture that promotes psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Drive accountability for team KPIs, SLA adherence, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute NOC strategies that align with Boldyn’s business objectives and customer-first principles.
  • Oversee resource planning, shift scheduling, and workforce optimization for uninterrupted 24x7x365 operations.
  • Monitor operational health, identify risks, and implement proactive measures to ensure resilience and reliability.
  • Champion process improvements, automation, and analytics to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as the highest escalation point for critical incidents and client-impacting issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Lead post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain and enforce departmental SOPs, MAC procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Serve as the primary NOC contact for key clients during escalations and strategic service reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with client technical and non-technical teams, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Represent the NOC in strategic meetings and provide insights that influence client satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner with engineering, project management, and senior leadership to deliver on milestones and initiatives.
  • Contribute to change management, incident management, and escalation processes across the organization.
  • Share operational insights to inform business decisions and future planning.
