CNA/Caregiving Role: As a Caregiver/CNA, your primary responsibility will be to offer support and assistance to residents with their daily activities and care plans, under the guidance of the Team Lead.

Requirements

  • Certified as a CNA or HCA.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • No 1099 contracts.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to commute to Vancouver, WA (required)
  • Relocation to Vancouver, WA required prior to starting work
  • Background check and drug screen will be performed upon hire

  • 1 year of caregiving preferred

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation, promptly reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff.
  • Mobility Assistance: Support patients with mobility challenges by assisting with transfers and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers and promote comfort.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documented care provided, changes in condition, and any incidents.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful interactions with residents to enhance their quality of life.
  • Safety: Create a safe environment for patients by identifying and addressing potential hazards and responding promptly to emergencies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and their families, providing updates on patient progress and reporting any concerns.
  • Hygiene & Sanitation: Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for patients, including assistance with toileting, changing linens, and keeping patient areas organized.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
