hours: On call rotation on Sunday & Saturdays, as required every 6 weeks Oncall hours are 11PM Friday evenings to 11PM Sundays Normal shift hours are 3PM - 11PM, Monday through Friday Hybrid schedule (onsite presence required for testing or as needed--majority is remote) Manages network infrastructure including configuration monitoring and troubleshooting. Identify the causes of networking problems using diagnostic testing software and equipment. Ensures network performance security and reliability often working with switches routers firewalls and VPNs. Under the direction of the operations manager Network Support Specialist is an IT-focused role that is responsible for executing daily responsibilities related to incident management device monitoring network troubleshooting application support and upgrade project implementation and deployment. An emphasis is placed on assisting in the monitoring and support of AF's core software and hardware applications. This is a role that demands building strong working relationships with all technical support teams.
