About The Position

Provide feedback to no fault medical billing specialists and assist in the review of their work product. Mentor and facilitate training and on boarding of new hires. Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Fee Schedule NF billing including complex surgical and hospital billing. • Review and evaluate medical supports in furtherance of properly scheduling billing • Make appropriate inquiry to obtain additional information required to effectuate job responsibilities. • Execute NF10 including proper denial language • Timely complete and maintain mailing logs. • Maintain records and provide information to generate production reports. • Participate in managing general inbox, insuring the proper prioritization of work execution within the team • Facilitate and work directly with supervisor to insure accountable process to insure timely payment and or processing of billing • Assist in onboarding new hires and share technical expertise with team members • Mentor and provide assistance to Medical Biller specialists within the team • Apply competent Regulatory knowledge to the above duties and responsibilities Other DutiesThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed. Requirements

  • Minimum of two to three years direct No Fault billing and coding experience
  • Ability to read and understand medical billing and reports to facilitate proper coding and application of Workers Compensation Fee Schedule
  • Ability to fee schedule complex surgery billing
  • Basic understanding of Regulation 68 as it is relevant to Fee Scheduling
  • Proven productivity above the current minimum production standards
  • Active pursuit of or completion of CPC certifications
