About The Position
Schedule: Level 3: 1.0 FTE is 10 16-hr shifts/month in-house NNP/PA coverage from 4pm-8am Level 2: 1 FTE is 10 shifts/month of 24hr on-call NNP/PA coverage, incl. well NB coverage Neonatologist service coverage: avg 10 days/month block coverage; team rounds at both units for NICU infants only; anticipated 8am-4pm onsite(s) then 16hr on-call from home at night (30-min response time) Benefits: Sign-on Bonus Student Loan Repayment, PSLF qualifying organization Relocation CME Allocation Malpractice Insurance (Incl. Responsibilities
- Attend high-risk deliveries and facilitate NICU admissions
- Co-manage NICU patients with the attending Neonatologist and site-dependent well newborn nursery patients
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with the Neonatologist in the NICU by providing active management strategies that may include nutritional adjustments, ventilator management, lab and radiology review, and updating families.
