About The Position

The Customer Service Ops Manager at GAT Airline Ground Support is responsible for overseeing the operations of frontline team members to ensure a high-performing and safe environment while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective workforce management, coaching, and fostering a positive team culture in a fast-paced airport setting.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Airline Customer Service Operations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer experience (6 months+) and typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
• 4-year college degree in a relevant field strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.

• Experience in a fast-paced airport environment.
• Previous leadership or management experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ramp assignments for frontline team members to dynamically work flights at gates.
• Lead the airport team to perform their work safely and efficiently, complying with all regulations.
• Provide exceptional support to frontline team members to enhance customer service delivery.
• Coach and mentor team members in skill development and company culture behaviors.
• Promote an environment of mutual respect and trust among team members.
• Establish effective relationships with internal and external customers, fostering integrity and respect.
• Provide direction and support to enable high performance from the team.
• Assess operational conditions to ensure corporate and local metrics are met through collaboration.
