About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative NIPR Operations Lead to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities Direct operational cybersecurity activities for unclassified enterprise networks (NIPRNet): monitoring, vulnerability management, incident detection/response, and remediation coordination. Oversee system onboarding, configuration baselines, change control, and lifecycle updates to maintain compliance with DoD and organizational policies. Coordinate cross‑functional response during operational disruptions; advise stakeholders on risk mitigation, containment, and recovery strategies impacting NIPRNet services. Manage compliance reporting, scan/validation cycles, and evidence collection for RMF/ATO and accreditation activities. Lead operational metrics, dashboards, and status reporting to communicate readiness, risk trends, and remediation status to leadership. Liaise with SOC, CIRT, NOC, engineering, and enterprise teams to prioritize vulnerabilities, validate fixes, and ensure continuity of unclassified services. Maintain operational playbooks, runbooks, and SOPs for NIPRNet security operations and continuous monitoring. #ENOCS Qualifications Qualifications Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance. Candidate must meet ONE of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity; OR Relevant DoD/military training (example: Splunk Core Certified Power User); OR Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (examples: CySA+, GCIA, CEH). Required experience and skills: Operational cybersecurity, NOC/SOC, or network operations experience with at least 3 years supporting unclassified/enterprise network security. Hands‑on experience with monitoring/SIEM (e.g., Splunk), vulnerability management, scanning tools, and incident response workflows. Proven ability to lead cross‑team coordination during incidents, produce decision‑grade operational reports, and manage compliance evidence for RMF/ATO. Strong stakeholder communication, documentation, and SOP/playbook development skills. Desired: Prior DoD/ARNG NIPRNet operational experience and familiarity with enterprise accreditation and compliance processes. Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
