Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Textiles or related field.
• Graduation date between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027.
• Knowledge of materials, formation, construction, and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of footwear sourcing, global processes, and events from product concept to delivery is preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, remain flexible, and get results within a matrixed organization.
• Proficiency using MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Work across functions to create innovative footwear products.
• Understand the needs of the athlete and apply that understanding to develop new concepts.
• Solve problems and identify means to improve performance.
• Collaborate on initiatives within the team and be exposed to the cross-functional Nike matrix.
• Research and investigate materials for product lines with a focus on sustainability and performance.
• Work with Design and Operations to bring products to life.
• Test ideas to ensure Nike products serve athletes effectively.
• Find ways to make innovative designs work in Product Engineering.
