About The Position

The Global Brand Experience + Innovation Studio is a future-forward creative group exploring new frontiers in consumer engagement and storytelling. From crafting immersive environments at brand destinations to pushing the future of new media and virtual experiences, we leverage emerging technology and disruptive concepts to innovate and capture people's imagination in new ways, while always pushing the Nike brand forward into new spaces.

Requirements

  • Immersive design expertise: You have a strong foundation in designing immersive experiences that span physical and digital, with a keen eye for art direction and visual storytelling.
  • Creative curiosity: You're curious and passionate individual with a strong interest in art direction, design, gaming and emerging technologies. You're eager to learn and grow in these areas, and you're not afraid to explore different design disciplines and platforms to create innovative solutions. With a multidisciplinary approach, you combine creativity and innovation to drive new ideas and push boundaries.
  • Strong design taste and eye: You have a keen sense of aesthetics and a deep understanding of design principles, with the ability to critique and refine your own work, as well as provide constructive feedback to others.
  • Proficient in design software: You have experience with industry-standard design software, 3D software, and are eager to learn more about game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity, and other relevant technologies. Experience with 3D modeling and motion graphics is a plus.
  • Effective collaborator and communicator: You have strong verbal and written communication skills and are able to work effectively with others to achieve common goals. You're also self-motivated and driven to deliver high-quality results, with the ability to manage your time and workload effectively.
  • A portfolio that showcases both physical and digital design examples.
  • Passionate about sports, culture, and gaming: You have a genuine interest in sports, culture, gaming, and Nike's mission to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Concept Development - Collaborating with our team to ideate, design, and execute cutting-edge concepts that engage consumers in unique and memorable ways. Develop creative briefs, mood boards, and prototypes that bring ideas to life across various mediums.
  • Visual storytelling - Be part of the development of immersive art direction for a wide range of experiences, that may include physical space, virtual worlds and gaming environments.
  • Team Collaboration - Partner with directors, designers, artists, developers, and external agencies to bring immersive experiences to fruition.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends in art, design, technology, and gaming. Leverage insights to inspire new ideas and keep Nike at the forefront of immersive experiences.
