About The Position

Audit repaired, manufactured and purchased products to verify conformity to requirements and provide reports of the audit results. Measure and inspect parts received for rebuild to help determine rebuild scope for projects. Help select tools, develop processes and create inspection templates for Quality Department.

Requirements

• Commitment to safety
• Computer skills – familiar with ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook
• Good verbal and written skills
• GD&T training (geometric dimensioning and tolerances)
• Print reading
• Familiar with OD and ID Mic’s and various other hand tools for inspecting parts.
• High level of thoroughness is required
• 4+ years heavy industry experience and/or general machining/mechanical knowledge of large parts with a minimum of 1 years of experience in a Quality Inspection Department
• Or 2 years of Engineering Training
• Ability to research and answer questions

Nice To Haves

• 6+ years experience in a heavy machining/mechanical industry
• 1+ years of experience in a Quality Inspection Department
• Engineering Degree
• Familiar with ISO 9001.2015 requirements
• FARO Arm (Romer Arm) and or Laser Tracker experience and/or appropriate devices to audit parts for conformity to requirements
• Familiar with PolyWorks Metrology Software
• Crack check training/certification
