About The Position

HF Foods Group, Inc. With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The Picker - Night will fulfill and process customer orders while keeping storage and staging areas organized. Successful candidate must be able to operate a pallet jack and follow all applicable safety regulations. Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
  • Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Drug Screening will be REQUIRED
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
  • The associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs
  • Repetitive hand use is required, including pushing and pulling up to 50lbs, reaching above shoulder
  • Frequent bending and squatting are required
  • The ability to endure physically demanding shifts and repetitive tasks is crucial
  • Successfully passing the Human Performance Evaluation on Lift, Lift-Carry, Push-Pull and Repetitive Posture.
  • Must be able to work night shift schedule
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ years of warehouse experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Active, a physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack
  • Organizing and palletizing products to build customer orders
  • Warp pallet after palletizing products
  • Keep the location areas and staging areas organized
  • Organize pallets and other support materials in a safe manner
  • Communicate warehouse concerns and safety issues to the warehouse manager
  • Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
  • Other duties as assigned by management
