About The Position

The Arena Nightclub Supervisor is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The supervisor initially reviews event details with the director. The supervisor meets the staff at the beginning of a shift and checks each staff member in for the event. The supervisor should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required. The supervisor is responsible for assisting management in all aspects of Arena Club operation, area setup and breakdown. Requirements

  • 2 years or more experience in foodservice, nightlife or hospitality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Meets with club management before the event to go over details.
  • Supervises staff during check-in, set up and breakdowns.
  • Ensures all food and beverages are properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
  • Knowledgeable on all menu offerings.
  • Assists with nightclub style bottle presentation.
  • Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
  • Responds and assists in any departmental guest service issues.
  • Regularly obtains feedback from clients and guests to improve operations.
  • Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
  • Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
  • Creates, modifies and closes sales checks in point of sale.
  • Ensures show quality standards are always maintained.
  • Understands all event paperwork and reports.
  • Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
  • Maintains service areas.
  • Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
  • Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Process orders in inventory management system.
  • Assists with monthly inventory.
  • Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly.
