Night Youth Care Worker
About The Position
As a Night Youth Care Worker, you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students. You’ll monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED and 40 hours of college education or one-year experience working with youth in organized group activities
Responsibilities
- Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth
- Monitor and document student behaviors and activities
- Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities
- Work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan
- Create a positive, safe and supportive environment for the youth
