About The Position

Looking for a motivated Night Yard Jockey to join our team in Plant City!!! Apply Today! Duties/Responsibilities: Follow company Policy and procedures while driving commercial vehicles. Preparing and maintaining a report of the daily activities. Ensure all trucks comply with the DOT standards and proper documentation. All repairs’ procedures must comply with OSHA regulations. Effective and respectful communication with all personnel. Ensure that all vehicles Preventive maintenance are completed in a timely manner. Continue to work on Whip Around and cooperate to help capture all repair information to work orders including the three C’s (compliant, cause and correction). Report all gas usage to Fleet Manager and Transportation Manager. Be able to perform all yard jockey’s duties including mileage and hour reports.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of managerial, administrative, and technical practices and procedures for a successful vehicle maintenance program.
• Review trucks documents, registration, DOT annually, insurance card and accident procedures, inspections etc.

• Bilingual Preferred in English and Spanish
