The Night Watch Supervisor will oversee staff development and monitor the implementation of program in accordance with re-education philosophies, positive peer culture, and Pressley Ridge values.

Requirements

  • Clearances. State Police/FBI clearance per state regulation; Child Abuse Registry clearance; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
  • Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
  • Requires two years of experience working with children.

  • Supervisory experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct supervision of youth as required by individual, program, and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Assists staff in crisis situations with physical intervention, if needed, or by providing group coverage.
  • Contacts Night Watch staff regularly to ensure open lines of communication—providing both verbal and written feedback.
  • Uses written documentation to communicate effectively with peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
  • Provides quality supervision for current staff based on the staff’s development and professional needs.
  • Develops and implements a schedule that provides full coverage.
  • Role models the implementation of the treatment program to new and experienced staff.
  • Facilitates team meetings for developing strategies that are aimed at creating improvements and setting standards and expectations, as well as encourages staff to develop programming that is creative and innovative while ensuring approaches are consistent with all members of the team.
  • Meet timelines for submitting paperwork established by the program and organization.
  • Monitors the completion of a daily report every night on the whereabouts of each youth.
