About The Position

The Night Warehouse Order Selector at Performance Foodservice is responsible for selecting and preparing food and non-food products for customer orders in a multi-level warehouse environment. This role involves operating pallet jacks and forklifts to transport items, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while maintaining productivity. The position offers opportunities for growth and is essential to supporting America's food distribution system.

Requirements

• Must be able to work scheduled times and required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting, stacking, and pulling products weighing between 10-90 pounds.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass a criminal background check post job offer.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED or State Approved Equivalent.
• 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Experience in foodservice distribution or related industry.
• Experience using a motorized pallet jack.
• Motorized pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and containers of food and non-food products to fill customer orders from warehouse storage systems.
• Operate electric pallet jacks/forklifts to move completed orders to the loading dock staging area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Review work schedules and prepare for operations by obtaining necessary supplies.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards as per company guidelines.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock and may shrink-wrap pallets for staging.
• Complete necessary paperwork and secure equipment at the end of the shift.
