About The Position

ROLE OBJECTIVES: Support continuous improvement by identifying equipment issues and contributing to preventative maintenance and process enhancements. Maintain a safe, clean operational environment by following all safety procedures and keeping equipment and work areas in proper condition. Manage maintenance activities cost-effectively through efficient use of parts, timely repairs, and proactive maintenance. Minimize downtime and optimize productivity by quickly diagnosing and resolving equipment issues and performing routine maintenance. Coordinate effectively with internal teams and vendors to prioritize and complete maintenance work. Ensure continuous and reliable operation of conveyor systems and warehouse equipment to support daily operations. BUSINESS OPERATIONS - Through cooperation and commitment to excellence, our processes are efficient and effective. Install, adjust, and maintain conveyor system components, including belts, tension rollers, and alignment of rollers; replace defective parts as needed. Order and manage conveyor system parts and materials through approved vendors. Serve as the primary point of contact with the warehouse management system vendor for conveyor-related maintenance and support. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance audits of conveyor systems to ensure proper operation and identify potential issues. Clean and maintain conveyor systems to support safe, efficient operations. Assist with moving semi-tractor trailers and smaller trucks in and out of loading bays as required. Travel to other Badger Liquor locations within Wisconsin to perform maintenance and support operational needs. Participate in company meetings and events as needed, which may occasionally occur outside of scheduled workdays. Perform metal fabrication and welding tasks as required to support equipment maintenance and repairs. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Mechanical experience or background preferred.
  • On-site scissor lift training provided.
  • Electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience in distribution or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including overtime or call support, as needed to support business operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with experience working on conveyors, sorters, and spiral systems preferred.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, including strict adherence to lockout/tagout and other safety procedures.
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to make sound decisions and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
