About The Position

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Night Warehouse Manager based out of our Deforest, WI Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. This position will report up to the General Manager and is responsible for supervising a group of warehouse employees. Assigning tasks as necessary to ensure that work is complete and proper usage of available resources. This role will assist in shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in merchandise. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse supervisory experience, collaborate effectively and professionally with the team, and will lead by example.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred with 2-4 years of related experience
  • Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
  • Must be a self-directed individual with the ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations and work in a fast paced and rapidly growing distribution environment
  • Obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of management experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines
  • Interview potential new team members and manage a team of warehouse employees
  • Adjust work schedule as needed.
  • Maintain a warehouse that is accessible and safe for company personnel and LFF visitors
  • Read pick tickets and/or requisitions to select and assemble product for customer orders.
  • Implement established food safety practices throughout all warehouse employees
  • Stand and walk for extended periods, to push/pull, lift/carry, or exert force of up to 75 lbs. or more
  • Implement processes and procedures and hold employees accountable to follow them.
  • Complete scheduling for shift.
  • KPI driven for results
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required
