About The Position

The Night Stocker position is a vital role within the Grocery department, responsible for ensuring that products are unloaded, stocked, and rotated efficiently to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. This position is non-exempt and requires a strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and guidelines. As a Night Stocker, you will be accountable for providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. This includes greeting customers with a smile, assisting them in locating products, and addressing their needs with care and patience. You will work closely with your co-workers to create a pleasant work environment and ensure customer satisfaction. Your primary duties will involve unloading trucks, opening containers, stocking shelves, and organizing stock for maximum efficiency. You will also monitor for miss-picked items and report any discrepancies to the scanning coordinator for system input. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines, report to work on time, and work the scheduled number of hours. The role may also require you to assist in other areas of the store as needed and perform additional job-related duties and special projects as required. This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects and perform various physical activities throughout your shift.
