We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Night Shift Value Stream Supervisor to join our growing team.WHAT YOU WILL DO The Value Stream Supervisor is responsible for increasing the ratio of value to non-value and eliminating waste of the overall supply chain from start to finish for a defined product family; and for ensuring the value stream produces a quality product in a safe and cost-effective manner, that meets the production schedule and cost specifications. The Value Stream Supervisor will create an environment where employees feel valued, challenged, and empowered by evaluating performance and potential of each employee and provide appropriate coaching. This role will analyze production performance and implement process improvements to minimize downtime, reduce material and labor requirements, and lower overall cost per case of our products while maintaining a continuous improvement environment aligned with the SQDCPI pillar of Lean Leadership. Additional responsibilities include: · Inform the appropriate departments of major Production issues and participate in resolution of the problem. · Collaborate with Planning, Maintenance and Supply Chain inside the Value Stream to maintain Production efficiency and scheduled delivery. · Develop and utilize performance goals through Performance Ownership and Daily Direction Setting that align with plant KPI’s. · Maintain budget requirements for labor, training and materials. · Execute data mining and evaluation pertinent to process enhancement related to Value Stream metrics. · Ensure team is staffed properly, trained, resourced, supplied and managed to attain strategic objectives. · Execute Standard Work, develop SOP’s, and Work Instructions for Operations inside Value Stream. · Execute root cause solving procedures to all functions, using common tools (5Y, Ishikawa) to develop, document and implement countermeasures in relation Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. · Execute lean tools and procedure within Value Stream atmosphere to minimize process variation. · Actively participate and provide direction towards all process improvements inside Value Stream with R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain. · Establish and execute 6s standard and audits inside Value Stream.

Requirements

Bachelors or Associate Degree in business management or work equivalent experience
Prior Value Stream or Supervisor Experience in a Manufacturing environment, 5+ years preferred
Prior experience in TPM or Autonomous Maintenance fundamentals preferred
Prior experience in developing high performing teams with a large span of control preferred
Thorough knowledge of GMP’s, HACCP and OSHA regulations
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for coaching, developing and performance reviews of employees; including disciplinary actions
Leads by example including demonstration of all job functions, with consistent enforcement of all company policies
Proficient with Microsoft Office systems (word, excel, outlook)
Excellent communication skills including oral and written presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and drive change management
Basic understanding of Production Equipment and processes with technical ability for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment
