The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the overall clinical care of all residents throughout the facility and to assure that all care is coordinated and provided. Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state or compact state.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Supervisor in long-term care or healthcare related facilities.
Nice To Haves
- Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc. as necessary.
- Review all staffing for the assigned shift and assure each resident has an assigned nurse/CNA. Review shift PPD and make staffing adjustments as required.
- Make rounds throughout the facility at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Replace any call offs that are received during the shift.
- Communicate all events/incidents and resident concerns to DON/ADON. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action when appropriate.
