Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school education.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds.
  • Must possess successful problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals.
  • Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English).
  • Meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects.
  • Demonstrate production competency and knowledge of production systems.
  • Rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as deemed necessary.
  • Set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment, such as pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens, and laser etcher.
  • Load components, feeders, and solder paste onto machines according to production specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate placement of components on circuit boards.
  • Perform machine setups and changeovers for different production runs, including loading new programs and adjusting feeders.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues, such as feeder jams or placement errors, and escalate complex problems to technicians or supervisors.
  • Follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials like solder paste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient production environment.
