About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Night Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Lexington, United States. As a key member of our production leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing night shift operations, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3-6 years preferred) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically in night shift operations
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities efficiently
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules
• Strong mathematical skills for analyzing production metrics and preparing reports
• Adaptability to change and willingness to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred (equivalent experience may be considered)
• Willingness to work night shifts and occasional overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate night shift production activities to meet quality standards and production targets
• Manage and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
• Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement lean manufacturing techniques
• Collaborate with other shift supervisors and department heads to ensure seamless 24-hour operations
• Analyze production data and prepare detailed reports for upper management
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and productivity
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams as needed
• Ensure proper inventory management and resource allocation during the night shift
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the production team
