About The Position

The Night Shift Pre-Fabricator Technician is responsible for the preparation of various metals following blueprints to supply the fabrication/welding department. This role requires the use of tools and equipment including bandsaws, plate shear, ironworker, belt sander, and hand tools. The technician must have experience operating a metal/plate shear and press brake. The position is full-time and requires the ability to work weekly overtime with good, dependable attendance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Experience operating a metal/plate shear.
• Experience operating a press brake.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills including identifying fraction and decimal equivalents.
• Basic blue reading skills.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Willingness to learn.
• Basic reading skills to follow directions.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
