About The Position
NurseCore is an industry leader in home health care, seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in Dunnellon, FL and surrounding areas. The company aims to connect healthcare professionals with medical positions that fit their lifestyle. The current needs include night shifts for a 2.5-year-old male pediatric patient in Ocala who has a G-tube, will have a trach placed in late May due to poor airway clearance, and requires frequent suctioning, repositioning, and PRN oxygen administration. Additionally, there are day/night shifts available for a 17-year-old male pediatric patient in Silver Springs Shores who has a trach and G-tube and requires 24/7 care.
Requirements
- Must have Vent, Trach and G-tube experience or willingness to learn
- Current medical license or certification in the state of Florida
- Successful completion of skills assessment(s) specific to area(s) of experience
- Current hands-on CPR certification
- Proof of Negative TB (titer/ chest x-ray)
- Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Responsibilities
- Care for ill, injured or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in private homes
- Provide quality healthcare to each patient in adherence with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
