About The Position
Roze Room is a leading provider of Hospice and Palliative Care, celebrating 25 years of service to Southern California communities. This night shift On-Call position covers the midnight to 8 a.m. shift. During this shift the LVN is available to travel to visit patients at their place of residence. The LVN is compensated for the full shift whether visits are necessary or not during the night shift. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the hospice LVN provides skilled nursing and palliative care to patients at their place of residence. The LVN works cooperatively with other Interdisciplinary Team members and provides intermittent visits or shifts of skilled nursing care, including pain management/symptom control, and nursing observations. The LVN provides information about the expected course of the illness, care techniques and other health measures to patients, family members or primary caregivers. The LVN participates in the care plan development and implementation. Must be able to utilize computers and be comfortable with electronic medical records.
