About The Position

Optalis of Whitehall is seeking compassionate and dedicated RNs and LPNs to join our night shift nursing team (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) . Our night nurses play a critical role in providing high-quality care, ensuring resident safety, and supporting continuity of care during overnight hours. We are focused on building a supportive, team-oriented environment where nurses feel valued, respected, and equipped to succeed.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to resident-centered care

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
• Monitor residents’ conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments per policy and scope of practice
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document care accurately and timely
• Support and collaborate with CNAs and other team members
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
