This is a NIGHT SHIFT Position Responsible for operating and maintaining assigned Machine to produce high-quality machined parts according to specifications. This role requires strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is a plus.
  • Experience operating in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Mazatrol or Mazak Smooth G controller is a must.
  • Must be experienced with setting up and qualifying weldments.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Set up assigned Machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
  • Operate Machines to perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, and tapping.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within tolerance and meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
