Responsibilities

• Assist residents with their daily routine
• Support licensed practical and registered nurses with electric charting and vital signs
• Report changes in a resident's condition or behavior
• Assist residents with feeding, showers, dressing, and personal hygiene matters
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Encourage residents to live their highest quality life
• Ensure patients are mentally stimulated, physically active, and well-nourished
• Encourage as much independence as possible for residents
