About The Position
Hampton Manor of Bedford is seeking dedicated Caregivers / Resident Aids to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents in an Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Community located in Lambertville, MI. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with shifts primarily during the night from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Caregivers will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, which requires a responsible demeanor and the ability to build trust with the elderly population. The role includes assisting residents with their daily care needs, which encompasses a variety of tasks such as toileting, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and mobility assistance. Additionally, caregivers will help residents participate in scheduled activities and manage their laundry needs. The position also includes the opportunity for in-house training to become a Med Passer, which comes with a pay increase. We value our employees and offer a bi-weekly attendance bonus after 90 days of employment. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience in elderly care, although we are willing to consider those who are new to the field. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, a willingness to work with the elderly, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
