About The Position
YMCA at Camp Widjiwagan is Now Hiring for Night Shift Camp Nurse Position Type: Seasonal – Summer 2026 Pay: $ 110 /day Minimum Age to Apply: 21 Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour on-call shifts - days will vary week-over-week Calling all night owls with a heart for kids and camp life! 🌙🏕️ Our Hiring Team is looking for a Night Shift Camp Nurse to keep our camp community healthy, safe, and cared for while the rest of camp sleeps. In this overnight role (8:00 PM–8:00 AM), you’ll run the Health Lodge, manage medications, support campers and staff, and be the calm, capable presence everyone counts on after dark. You’ll work closely with Camp Directors, communicate with parents as needed, and help set up and shut down the Health Center for the season—all while modeling the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 21
- Education: 4-year college degree required
- Certification: Current RN License (State of Tennessee)
- Passion for the YMCA mission and working with diverse groups
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and outdoors
- Required certifications include CPR/First Aid/AED and camp training (provided timelines apply), plus completion of all health and safety documentation.
