About The Position

Join our Warehouse Team at US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor. We are looking for dedicated individuals ready to build a career in a dynamic environment. Our Selectors start at $25.53 per hour and can move to full scale pay at $31.53 per hour after completing 90 days of employment and meeting 100% productivity. The schedule is Sunday to Thursday with a 5 PM start time. US Foods is committed to promoting from within and offers excellent training programs and a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday.
• Recent experience (within past 6 months) in high endurance or highly physical activity or role preferred.
• Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
• Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work, etc.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders.
• Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet.
• Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment.
• Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free.
• Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders.
• Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets from slots in aisle, and return pallet jacks to charging area.
