About The Position

The Night Replenishment Manager (NRM) at Home Depot plays a crucial role within the store leadership team, primarily overseeing freight handling activities during the night shift. This position is responsible for supervising the freight unload, pack out, and pack down processes, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. The NRM communicates priorities to the team, ensuring that nightly tasks are completed and that freight is moving throughout the store without delays. A significant aspect of this role involves teaching, coaching, and training associates on Home Depot's policies and procedures, emphasizing the importance of safety in the workplace. As a Night Replenishment Manager, you will often be the only manager present during your shift, which requires you to make critical business and associate decisions in collaboration with the appropriate resources while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will provide valuable input to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers regarding associate performance, participating in ongoing performance management and talent planning discussions. Although NRMs do not have direct reports, they play a vital role in the selection process for new associates as needed. Safety is a top priority in this role, and NRMs are expected to ensure that all associates are following safety policies and standards. This includes completing specified safety training, correcting hazards and unsafe conditions immediately, and promoting a culture of safety among all team members. The NRM is also responsible for conducting quality walks of completed tasks, ensuring that merchandising locations are set according to company standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment for both associates and customers.
