About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customer's buildings and grounds by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Duties include, but are not limited to: Overall duties include removing debris and maintaining common space areas. Cleaning duties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash, dusting, window cleaning, clean and maintain restrooms. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Clean all common space areas including kitchen, cafeteria, lobby and break room. Place safety hazard signs in the building including "wet floor" signs as necessary. Monitor, clean, service and restock bathrooms. Respond immediately to any major spills or other cleaning crisis. KNOWLEDGE OF FLOOR POLISHING WORK IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED. This is a full-time position from 7pm-3:30am, Monday-Friday.

Requirements

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job
• Dependable and punctual
• Treating all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect

• Knowledge of floor polishing work

Responsibilities

• Removing debris and maintaining common space areas
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash collection, dusting, window cleaning, and restroom maintenance
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
• Cleaning all common space areas including kitchen, cafeteria, lobby, and break room
• Placing safety hazard signs in the building as necessary
• Monitoring, cleaning, servicing, and restocking bathrooms
• Responding immediately to any major spills or other cleaning crises
