Night Nurse\/ Nanny Manager

Georgia's Dream NanniesDuluth, MN

About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced, calm, and reserved Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) or Night Nanny to provide expert care for our newborn girl (due soon) and manage essential household tasks during the overnight hours in our Duluth, GA home. This is a critical, temporary role for the first 8-12 weeks postpartum, with a guaranteed schedule of Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM (40 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with infant sleep training and dietary protocols. Responsibilities include meticulous preparation and monitoring of the prescribed medicated formula (and small amount of breastmilk), careful tracking of intake, and ensuring the baby is settled in the dedicated guest bedroom monitoring space. Experience with sensitive infant diets is highly preferred, and we are open to learning new methods from an expert with confidence and peace of mind. This dual-role position requires a candidate who is a self-starter and can manage the home environment while the parents are present in the house, allowing them to decompress without micromanagement or excessive "chit-chat." In addition to primary newborn care, the Night Manager duties include light housekeeping and kitchen support to ensure a seamless morning transition: unloading dishes, washing and prepping bottles, wiping down kitchen counters, turning on the robotic vacuum, and completing one load of baby laundry. Must be a genuine animal lover and comfortable around our three dogs (Labrador, Pug, and a French Bulldog). We seek a professional who is experienced, calm, and able to confidently maintain peace and routine, enabling the parents to maximize rest and recovery.
