About The Position

A warm, welcoming family in Southwest Virginia (near the Tennessee-North Carolina border) is seeking an experienced, certified Newborn Care Specialist to support the arrival of their second child, due July 31, 2026. The family has a 21-month-old daughter and is looking for a knowledgeable professional to guide them through the newborn stage and establish healthy sleep and feeding routines from the start. This is a primarily overnight role, with a temporary 24/7 live-in period while the mother travels internationally in September. The position is ideal for a career NCS who enjoys education-based care, structured routines, and collaborative parents. They are seeking a 4–6 month commitment. A p rivate bedroom with bathroom OR private mother-in-law suite is being offered.

Requirements

• 5+ years newborn experience
• Formal NCS training/certification
• Infant CPR & First Aid
• Excellent references
• Willing to live-in temporarily
• Available for September 24/7 coverage block
• Comfortable working alongside a parent at home

Responsibilities

• Full newborn care
