About The Position

First-time parents in Rye, NY, are seeking a newborn care specialist for their baby, due 2/21/2026. The contract term will be 6 weeks to start, and the schedule will be 5 nights per week from 7pm-7am, Monday through Friday. Only local candidates will be considered at this time.

Requirements

Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
Must have experience working nights
US passport, Green Card or EAC
Able to commute to Rye, NY (this role is not open to non-local candidates at this time)
COVID vaccinated (no boosters required), and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
Available to start on 2/21/2026 and commit to the full term of 6 weeks to start
Must be pet friendly - the family have a small French Bulldog

Responsibilities

Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
Providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night
Providing general support and assistance, where possible (given the nighttime schedule)
