The Night Manager - Float Team plays a vital role in overseeing and managing the nightly operations of cleaning teams at Howard Building Maintenance. This hands-on leadership position ensures high-quality cleaning, adherence to schedules, and a safe working environment. Managing a team of 8-12 cleaning professionals, the Night Float Team Manager is responsible for training and motivating employees to perform at their best while addressing operational challenges in real time. The role operates in a dynamic and mobile environment, starting and ending each shift at the Caldwell office. At the beginning of the shift, the manager picks up a company-provided vehicle and travels to various job sites across the Treasure Valley, including offices, warehouses, and industrial facilities. At each location, the manager oversees cleaning teams, conducts inspections, ensures quality standards, provides training, and resolves operational issues. Adaptability is crucial, as job sites vary in size, layout, and cleaning requirements. While on-site, the manager may encounter cleaning chemicals, moderate noise, and physical activity. At the end of the shift, the manager returns the vehicle to the Caldwell office and completes any necessary administrative duties, ensuring a seamless and efficient end to the day’s operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a bilingual Spanish speaking leader who seeks a non-traditional role and has a passion for team management and operational excellence. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!
