About The Position
Central Florida Care Group Inc is seeking two compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team in providing exceptional medical care in a home care setting. This position is specifically for a medically complex residential group home located in Poinciana, FL. As an LPN, you will be responsible for delivering care in accordance with established care plans, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of service. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with 12-hour night shifts available, allowing for flexible scheduling that includes Monday to Thursday nights and every other Friday to Sunday nights. This role is ideal for those looking to work closer to home while earning competitive compensation ranging from $30 to $33 per hour. In this position, you will be working with individuals who have developmental disabilities and may require specialized medical attention. Your responsibilities will include conducting daily assessments of clients, administering medications (oral, enteral, inhaled, etc.), documenting client status and any changes, and communicating effectively with RNs, MDs, and other medical professionals regarding orders and updates. You will also be involved in ventilator monitoring and management, tracheostomy care and suctioning, tube feeding, and disease management, as well as coordinating client medical appointments. We are looking for candidates who have at least two years of experience as an LPN, with a preference for those who have experience with pediatric patients and ICU/PCU settings. Documentation of ventilator and/or tracheostomy training is required, and experience with developmentally disabled individuals is a plus.
