Requirements

  • Prior floor experience preferred.
  • The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize Paylocity and other technology as directed and required for the role.
  • Proven experience supervising housekeeping departments of 15+ employees.
  • Ability to maintain a budget.
  • Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision-making skills ability.
  • Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, associates, and clientele, both inside and outside of the organization.
  • Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
  • Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc.).
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask.
  • Must be familiar with standard cleaning supplies and chemicals.
  • Must be familiar with equipment, includes but not limited to pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other similar equipment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs independently and ability to bend.
  • Extensive standing and walking.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for training new employees as directed.
  • Respond to emergency calls and resolve problems.
  • Lead and motivate staff at assigned account.
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Evaluate, coordinate, and assign daily tasks to team members based on need and skill level.
  • Inspect all work performed to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Act as primary onsite point-of-contact for cleaning team for any questions, concerns, or disputes they may have.
  • Promptly respond to any client’s inquiries and help ensure client is satisfied daily.
  • Ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, and training of new associates.
  • Ensure efficiency of work and adjust as necessary.
  • Lead the team – help them grow in their role. Support their development.
  • Help to motivate our existing team across shifts and keep associates focused on their daily duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
