About The Position

The Night Janitor position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities during nighttime hours. This role emphasizes customer service and professionalism while performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all users.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Valid South Carolina driver's license and able to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to squat, lift, push, and pull 50 lbs
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and physical exam
• Must be punctual and have great attendance

Responsibilities

• Exhibit the upmost customer service and professionalism
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors
• Pull trash and recycle and place in appropriate containers
• Hi/low dust and clean classrooms, bathrooms including showers, polish furniture and fixtures
• Re-stock all bathrooms with paper products and soap
• Stock janitor closets
• Clean elevators inside and out
• Read and follow cleaning supply instructions/restrictions
• Exhibit clear and effective communication skills
• Perform other duties as assigned
