About The Position

The Night Guard is responsible for providing security and protection for
buildings, grounds, materials, work sites, or other designated venues. This
entry-level position involves monitoring security systems, responding to alarms
or issues, and conducting regular patrols. The Security Guard plays a crucial
role in maintaining a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Basic computer skills for logging and reporting
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Security Guard License (if required by state or local regulations)
• 0-1 year of experience in security or related field
• First Aid and CPR certifications
• Knowledge of basic emergency response procedures

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and respond to alarms or reports of issues
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned locations
• Verify visitor credentials and follow required gate-keeping procedures
• Operate access control or identity systems to manage building access
• Complete shift activity logs and input data into security systems
• Conduct inspections of facilities and grounds as required
• Respond to requests for assistance from employees or visitors
• Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to supervisors
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security threats
• Assist in emergency situations following established protocols
• Ensure compliance with all company security policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
