Sprague Energy, located in Washington, PA, is a delivered fuel/gasoline business focused on residential, commercial and energy drilling and production. We operate within a 150-mile radius of Washington, PA. Our Drivers are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company rules, in accordance with the accepted principals of the safe operations of commercial motor vehicle cargo tank motor vehicle while safely transporting hazardous material to and from locations. Transporting fuel from various supply terminals to our bulk plants, stations, and various customer locations in a safe and efficient manner Maintain daily logs, worksheets, dispatch & trip reports and vehicle inspection reports Performs DOT certified pre-trip inspection Performs DOT certified post-trip inspection Ravens used properly; down loaded daily Electronic logs used properly, down loaded daily Comply with all company policies & procedures, health & safety procedures, Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazardous Materials/Waste (HAZMAT) requirements Wearing company uniforms and PPE in accordance with department and safety expectations Professional and respectful conduct with customers & other employees All paperwork filled out properly, complete, legible and turned in on a timely manner Trucks kept clean inside and outside. Proper notification of maintenance issues/concerns Orders delivered in accordance with department & customers’ expectations Attend all driver safety and information meetings or alternate meetings All other duties as assigned We want to hear from you! Requirements

  • Two years of driving experience in a Class A or Class B
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in in varying weather/driving conditions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to convey information to new and existing customers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Desire to succeed in a team environment
  • Valid Class A or B CDL driver’s license.
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement required.
  • Ability to complete and pass DOT Physical/Medical Exam Certificate, MVR, background check, drug test and physical capabilities testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior fuel delivery experience preferred

Responsibilities
