About The Position

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Night Dockhand to join our team. This role involves supporting the marina operations during nighttime hours, ensuring that docks are safe, clean, and well-maintained to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Requirements

• Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends and holidays as needed
• Basic knowledge of boating and marina operations preferred
• Must have clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Good physical condition to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to lift 50+ lbs

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of boating and marina operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with docking and un-docking boats during night hours
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of docks and marina equipment
• Monitor the marina area for security and safety compliance
• Drive Marina Shuttle to transport marina guests.(Must be 21 years of age)
• Respond promptly to any emergency situations or guest requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the marina and dock areas
• Collaborate with marina staff to support daily operational needs
• Able to work 4pm to 12am
