About The Position

CUSTODIAL POSTIONS AVAILABLE: Full Time Hours: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. This position is based at Nessacus Regional Middle School from November-March. It is a split position between Wahconah Regional High School and Nessacus Regional Middle School from April -October while the district's grounds crew is in operation. Custodians shall report, and provide support to the building principal, their building's head custodian and perform a variety of tasks including cleaning, maintenance and general care of the building and grounds. Primary responsibility is to ensure students and staff have a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play, work and develop.

Requirements

• Experience in custodial and plant operations
• Ability and willingness to perform general custodial duties
• Ability to work with machinery and technology consistent with building use
• Proven ability to work courteously with other staff and public
• Must be reliable, able to work as part of a team
• Massachusetts drivers license required
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Satisfactory CORI/SORI/Background Check
• Two hour asbestos awareness training required within 30 days of employment
