About The Position
Perform cleaning services to all areas of Iona University Duties and Responsibilities Includes cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, climbing a ladder to clean windows and lifting up to 50 pounds of any assigned areas such as bathrooms, offices, classrooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums, dormitories etc. Collection and disposal of any garbage and recyclables from all trash containers and bringing it to designated areas Sweep, mop, strip and buff hard wood floors where necessary Report to supervisor any faulty building functions such as lights, doors, locks, bathroom fixtures Assist snow removal department when needed May require overtime Any other duties as requested
Requirements
- Possess some knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning agents
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma preferred
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
